As a Success Coach affiliated with Success Unlimited Network, (SUN), Charlotte helps individuals live an examined life by recognizing their purpose and going for their for their dreams with an increasing sense of well being.

Author/Editor:

As well as co-authoring Simply Live It Up: Brief Solutions, she co-owns and serves as a principal in two publishing companies, Gem Book Publishing Company and Purposeful Press. With her husband, author and photojournalist Fred Ward, she wrote The Home Birth Book and Phenomenal Gems. She has edited numerous books and articles for major publications as well as expansive government and private industry projects.

PhotoReading Seminar Leader:

In her company Charlotte Ward Enterprises, since 1992 Charlotte has been leading seminars in the PhotoReading Whole Mind System, where participants experience breakthrough processing of written information with both hemispheres of the brain at speeds exceeding 25,000 words a minute. For a presentation on the TodayNY morning show, she developed Reading Strategies, a half- or one-day training for professionals.

NLP Master:

Charlotte has studied Ericksonian hypnosis and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) since 1983. Having achieved the Master Practitioner level and Trainer Certification, she uses these skills in coaching, presenting, writing, and editing.

Speaker:

Active for seven years in her Toastmasters club, the Professional Speakers, she served in every office. She also completed the Dale Carnegie Personal Improvement program.

MBTI and PTP:

Qualified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Charlotte incorporates Type into her presentations and writing. She also has studied and employed the work of Dawna Markova, Perceptual Thinking Patterns.

Community Service:

Charlotte was invited to join Malibu Woman's Club when she moved to California in 2005. Having served as Scholarship Committee Chair, she was elected President for 2008 and 2009. The women give a fundraiser each year to raise scholarship money. In the spring they award several worthy Malibu seniors for community service, grades, and school activities. They also award first and second prizes for an essay contest to Malibu fifth graders. In addition, for the last four years Charlotte has served on the Arts Festival Jury, a committee of the Malibu Chamber of Commerce.

Education:

In 1955 Charlotte graduated seventh in her class of six hundred at Coral Gables High School. The Miami Herald named her the “Most Outstanding Teenager in Dade County,” and the Florida DAR awarded her first place in the state for her essay on world peace. After serving as freshman class president and president of her sorority, Delta Gamma, Charlotte graduated with High Honors in English from the University of Florida. She took additional certification in teaching and taught accelerated classes in high school English in St. Petersburg, Florida. In 1991 Charlotte completed her Georgetown University Interdisciplinary Master’s Degree “With Distinction.”
